I’m David Brown, the owner of Promatch Auto. Funny enough, this story begins in Art School. During my final semester before receiving my bachelor’s degree, my curiosity led me to a local body shop. I quickly realized that the two had a lot in common and the shop became my studio. Over the next 6 years, I worked in a classic restoration shop, a paint production factory for custom trucks, and I helped start a reconditioning business to restore used vehicles. Eventually, I decided that I cared more about the quality of the finish product than the businesses that I was working for. In 2020, I decided to take a risk. I gathered my resources and created Promatch Auto during the peak of the pandemic. This was counter intuitive and a true trial by fire scenario. However, since those humble beginnings we’ve grown into a trusted local shop, building strong relationships with our neighbors and earning a reputation that we’re proud of.
